1.1 These Terms apply to the International Journal of Innovative Engineering, Technology & Science (IJIETS). By using the site, submitting manuscripts, or participating in peer review you agree to these Terms.
1.2 IJIETS may periodically update these Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new Terms.
2.1 Originality: Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere. Manuscripts are screened for overlap and plagiarism.
2.2 Copyright & License: Authors retain copyright; by acceptance authors grant IJIETS a non-exclusive license to publish. Authors will be asked to sign a Copyright Transfer / License form upon acceptance.
2.3 Ethics & Approvals: Research involving humans or animals must include ethics approval statements and consent where applicable.
2.4 Disclosure: Authors must disclose conflicts of interest, funding sources, and any financial support.
2.5 Revisions: Authors must respond to review requests within the requested timeframe. Failure to respond may result in withdrawal.
3.1 Confidentiality: Manuscripts are confidential. Reviewers shall not share or use material for personal advantage.
3.2 Conflict of Interest: Declare any COI and decline review if impartiality is compromised.
3.3 Conduct: Provide constructive, timely, and evidence-based reviews; report suspected misconduct to editors.
4.1 Integrity: Editors will ensure unbiased decisions guided by scholarly merit and peer review.
4.2 Conflicts: Editors recuse themselves where conflicts exist and ensure transparent handling.
5.1 Data Use: IJIETS collects author and reviewer contact details to manage submissions and communications. Data is used per our privacy policy.
5.2 Cookies: The site may use cookies to improve experience—users may control cookies via their browser.
5.3 Data Requests: Contact editor.ijiets@coou.edu.ng for data correction or removal requests.
6.1 Submission is free. If accepted, a publication processing charge applies to cover open-access hosting and production.
6.2 Typical fees: ₦30,000 (local) / $50 USD (international). Fee waivers available in special circumstances on application.
IJIETS is not liable for losses arising from use of the site or publication content. Authors are responsible for accuracy of data and references.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction (Anambra State courts as applicable).
